Officials

The NMBA is committed to building capacity through education initiatives for coaches, officials, educators, and student athletes. With certified BWF and Badminton Oceania coaches and umpires, our team leads with knowledge and valuable international experience.

The NMBA’s roster of coaches includes several certified through Badminton Oceania and Badminton World Federation programs. Our coaches work tirelessly to mentor players of all levels, from beginners to our national team, and provide specialized training sessions for teachers and youth leaders to ensure sustainable growth.

The NMBA also conducts several sessions of the Shuttle Time Teacher Course and Youth Leader Course aimed at empowering educators and high school students to lead badminton development in their schools throughout the year. These courses include:

Shuttle Time Teacher Course – Workshops designed to enhance coaching techniques for elementary and middle school teachers.
Shuttle Time Youth Leader Course – Focused on developing leadership and organizational skills to run community-based badminton activities.
