Northern Marianas Open
The Northern Marianas Open is a BWF Grade 3 International Challenge and an official Olympic qualifying event sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation and Badminton Oceania. This prestigious tournament brings over 100 top-ranking athletes and officials around the world. Hosted back-to-back with the Saipan International, this signature International Challenge features Men's & Women's Singles, Men's & Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles, creating exciting competition for fans and providing a premier platform for world-class competition, talent development, and global exposure for all participants.
Saipan International
One of the NMBA's signature events, the Saipan International is a BWF Grade 3 International Challenge and an official Olympic qualifying event sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation and Badminton Oceania. With events featuring world ranking athletes, this tournament continues to strengthen our reputation as a global badminton destination, while providing our local athletes access to high level competition.
Northern Marianas International
The Northern Marianas International is the NMBA's newest BWF Grade 3 International Series tournament, welcoming rising stars and seasoned players to the NMI. Held at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium, the event features highly anticipated line ups in the Men's & Women's Singles, Men's & Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.
VICTOR Oceania Junior Championships 2025
The VICTOR Oceania Junior Championships was held at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium from June 8 to 15, 2025. The premier continental tournament brought together the region's most promising young badminton players for a week of elite competition and cultural exchange. Hosted by Badminton Oceania in partnership with the Northern Marianas Badminton Association, the competition featured over 60 junior athletes from seven countries and territories.
Pacific Mini Games 2022
The Pacific Mini Games 2022 marked a milestone for badminton in the NMI, with NMBA hosting a successful tournament that welcomed regional athletes and officials. Beyond the competition, the event left a lasting legacy by training new technical officials, enhancing event management capabilities, and strengthening local pride through sport.
